(For the record, I am still working on stage 4. I remember going through the stages of (1) learning that meld was very useful to have, (2) learning not to save it so much that i never used it, (3) learning not to use it every time it was on cooldown, (4) learning the perfect time to use, and (5) learning to use in harmony with the other players in the group. ![]() It is a fun tactical element of playing in high reaper deciding when to use meld. But there is nothing wrong with this type of effect for everyone. Put them on common cooldowns if necessary to keep people from gaining access to all of them. Rather than make everyone twist meld, I would prefer seeing more options that are similarly effective for all characters. That said, I think it is fine to have a short duration panic button for all characters. ![]() I recommend debating with reason and not a "l2p, noob" response. (and from personal experience, I know that SirValentine is a master at controlling the battle in R10 on a variety of character types). If you read their body of work on this forum, it is clear both are very knowledgeable players. I don't agree with the OP's proposal and SirValentine's response is a bit too glib, but suggesting that either of these players don't know enough about the game (or about playing at R10) is crazy on the face of it. I find these statements about other forumites needing to "learn" about the game based on their posts hilarious. learn the game, if you say that meld is clearly op you clearly need to learn. Also no, vengeance buffed reapers, champs and bosses are not always on me it happens, you run with alchemists it happens alot. Running r6/8 raids and r10 quests, for the short period of physically damage immunity it gives you is, under the sometimes crazy circumstances isnt OP. Running casual Lord of Dust and being lv 30 in full raid gear, yes it is op and not required. I do not agree that meld should be unavailable to twist, but I won't argue for reasons why cuz my reason is I like having meld.Wait what ? Scratches head.let me rephrase this a little to something that is more familiar for you. rejuv is another similar thing, though I guess it's a lotssuniversal lately with people actually playing healers. ![]() The point of vengeance buffed dooms with 7 stacks on you is that you just die now, if something (meld) can be universally twisted so this doesn't happen no matter your hp and prr, then it's op.Īlso he most likely is not a tank where someone stole his thunder, I'd bet he was planning a build and frustrated that there was some twist he really wanted but he can't have it bc meld is more important.Īlso to those saying that it's bad to have a twist that everyone takes. R6 and below? No it's r7+ where meld is especially op, you're so silly! What you just mentioned, about kiting some veng buffed dooms while 7 stacked, is exactly why it's op.
